Ronghua (绒花) is a traditional Chinese silk-flower craft: soft threads, wire, and patient hands become botanical forms made to last.
What is Ronghua?
Ronghua translates as velvet flower. Each petal is built from silk thread over a fine wire armature, then shaped and assembled into a small botanical composition.
A slower kind of making
We work in small batches and make selected pieces to order. Variations in texture and shape are part of the hand-made character, not defects.
